People, plant and formwork that mobilise as one site unit.

NIPL keeps its core engineering and plant team on its own payroll and maintains its own concrete production, formwork and survey inventory. Clients get a team that already works together, with the equipment to start structural work.

02 Plant, machinery & formwork

Plant and formwork register.

Ownership is shown as recorded by the company. Hired items are listed as hired. Additional plant is arranged as each project requires.

Why the formwork matters

238 well shuttering units of 7 m diameter, 600 shuttering plates and I-girder, friction slab, crash barrier and RE wall moulds. Formwork does not have to be fabricated or hired for each new project.

04 Quality, survey & safety

Work that is checked before the client’s engineer checks it.

Rework is the most expensive thing an execution partner can hand a client. NIPL’s founder began his career as a chief surveyor and resident engineer, and the company is set up to inspect its own work first.

01Quality control

  • Work executed to approved drawings, MoRTH specifications and the project quality assurance plan
  • Two sets of MoRTH laboratory equipment for site testing of materials and concrete
  • Reinforcement checked for bar size, spacing and cover before every pour
  • Controlled concrete from our own batching plants

02Survey & measurement

  • Two total stations and three auto levels for setting out and level control
  • 100 tonne weighbridge for material receipts
  • Joint measurement records maintained to support running bills and certification

03Health, safety & environment

  • Site safety briefings and PPE for workers and staff
  • Planned lifting and work at height on bridge structures
  • Safe working near live traffic and overhead transmission lines
  • Housekeeping and responsible handling of excavated material

05 Mobilisation

Mobilisation is planned for each project.

We do not quote a fixed mobilisation time. How quickly and with what equipment we mobilise depends on the project, and we agree it with the client before work starts.

  • 01Distance from Dehradun or an existing project office
  • 02Duration of the project and its programme
  • 03Scope and budget agreed in the contract
  • 04Economics of moving owned plant versus hiring locally
